Rear tent Ford Tourneo (2023)

With the practical rear tent suitable for the new Copa based of Ford Tourneo (2023), you can expand your vehicle in no time and create additional space for storing your equipment, as a changing room or shower cabin or simply to create a generous feeling of space. Advantage of the tent is that it can be attached without accessories only by placing the integrated magnets around the tailgate for a fast and easy assembly. For an additional fastening, eyelets can be used for tensioning (support poles are not included in the scope of delivery).

The highlight: A storage bag included in the scope of delivery offers a precisely fitting storage solution on the front of the furniture (via push buttons), so that the rear tent can always be stowed safely and without taking much space. The tent made of light textile fabric has a ventilation window with integrated insect protection, which can also be closed. The door opening has a 2-way zipper.

Please make sure your tent is dry before you store it.

Care instructions:

The rear tent is UV-resistant, waterproof and mold-resistant. The fabric does not need to be impregnated on the outside or inside. If the tent has to be folded up when it is wet, it should be hung up or laid out to dry completely after 18-20 hours at the latest. The zips should be treated with a special care product from time to time to ensure they run smoothly.
Clear water is sufficient for cleaning. Never use aggressive chemical substances! The rear tent is not suitable for washing machines or dryers!

Mayr Planen und Zelte e.K. and Bürstner GmbH & Co. KG assumes no responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect assembly, improper use, transport or unsuitable maintenance of the rear tent. In severe, stormy weather, the tent should be dismantled, and the tailgate closed.
Never set up cooking, fire or heating elements in the immediate vicinity of the rear tent!

Handling instructions:

Magnets can be a source of danger in case of improper handling. Consequences of an inadequate handling are, the squeezing of the skin, the creation of sharp splinters, explosion risk and the influence or damaging of vital electrical or electronical equipment like pacemakers. Therefore, we recommend respecting the following instructions:

• Avoid getting your fingers caught in between the magnets.
• Avoid the crashing of the magnets
• Avoid installing magnets in areas susceptible to explosions.
• Respect the safety distance indicated by the manufacturer of importance equipment like pacemakers.

To guarantee the longevity of your product we recommend you consider following points:

• Special care is required when folding your rear tent, as kinks and folds can cause permanent damage to the material.
• To prevent scratches and damages on your vehicle, make sure that no particles have adhered to the suction cups and that all vehicle-side contact surfaces are clean before each installation.
• While mounting and dismounting, make sure that the zippers are not under too much tension.
• No foreign objects should get between the zipper teeth.
• Never use force to install or remove the rear tent, it would take damage.
